London Marathon Charitable Trust

Sir Rodney is chair of the London Marathon Charitable Trust. The trust owns London Marathon Events who organise mass participation events including the London Marathon, Ride London and Swim Serpentine. In the 40 years since the first London Marathon was held in 1981, the trust has distributed of £90 million to projects in London and beyond whilst the participants have raised over £1 billion for their nominated charities.
